The victim, Ali Iliyasu a resident of the state suffered the brain injury 26 years ago, after an accident.
The surgery was performed by Consultant Neuro-Surgeon Shu’aibu Dambatta alongside a team of surgeons at the facility.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje who visited the patient barely 24 hours after the surgery said he was happy with the development and assured of more commitment to providing healthcare delivery in the state.
