Team Lagos are the men’s 4 by 100 meters relay Champions at the 21st national sports festival after running a time of 39.90 seconds and a photo finish with Team winners.
For the woman, team Delta came first to win the gold medal beating team Bayelsa who picked the silver medal.

In the Women’s category of beach volleyball, Team Edo with the duo of Francisca Ikhiede and Happy Wushilang overpowered Naomi Yaro and Esther Mbah of Kaduna state 2-0 (21-11, 21-10) to emerge gold medalists.
Host Team Delta was compensated when it claimed the bronze medal beating Team Lagos 2-0 (21-11, 21-11) to win the women’s event.
In the men’s event, Kaduna State won Gold Medal beating Delta State by two sets to one in the final March.
Team Bayelsa also beat Team Kebbi 2-0 (21-15, 21-19) to win the bronze medal in the men’s event.
