The Jigawa State Police Command has distributed N91.4m to families of Police Officers who died in service.
The funds, handed over by Commissioner of Police AT Abdullahi, were part of the Inspector General of Police Family Welfare Scheme, which provides financial support to bereaved families before full benefits are processed.
At a ceremony in Dutse, 24 beneficiaries received cheques aimed at easing their financial burdens.
