Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, over an alleged ₦700 billion fraud.
According to sources, the former governor was taken into custody at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday after honouring an invitation from the anti-graft agency at approximately 12:30 PM.
