The Magistrate Court of Oyingbo, Lagos has granted bail to six persons arrested during the #RevolutionNow protest on Monday in Lagos.

They were arraigned this Tuesday morning before Mrs A. OK Komolafe of the magistrate court.

The protest initiated by Omoyele Sowore, a presidential candidate during the 2019 election and publisher of the online news platform, Sahara Reporters, was meant to kick-start a sustained protest against bad governance in the country.

The protest suffered a poor start in Lagos and Abuja and did not take place completely in other major cities in the country.
