The independent national electoral commission inec has blamed late commencement of voting in ogbia local government on disruption by suspected thugs.
This he said was responsible for the commencement of voting in the polling unit of former president Goodluck Jonathan more than three hours late.
Speaking on the situation, the resident electoral commissioner from Anambra state said thugs prevented officials from accessing the designated registration center before the matter was resolved.
