The Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed, is currently in a closed door meeting with senior officers of the police force.
They are at the force headquarters in Abuja and are deliberating on the country’s security situation.
The IGP said reports show a decrease in crime in the last one month but the rising spate of kidnapping which has gotten to worrying dimensions is expected to top the agenda.
