Governor Jibrila Bindow of Adamawa State has reassured the Igbo community and other tribes living in the state of their safety.
Speaking to journalists shortly after a security meeting held at Government House Yola, he said Adamawa is safe for all Nigerians irrespective of their tribe or religion.
He said everyone should go about their businesses without any fear.
The state commissioner for Information told journalists that security will be beefed up in some areas based on alleged planned attacks by some miscreants.
