Governor Umaru Bago has dissolved the Niger State executive council.
The governor made the announcement during the monthly cabinet council meeting in Minna.
While the dissolution affects all commissioners, the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal officers have been reappointed to continue in their roles.
This development marks the first major shake-up in the Niger state governance structure.
