Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has sworn in 9 commissioners who recently resigned as members of the state executive council.
They took the oaths of office in the Government House in Port Harcourt.
The names of the commisioners were sent back to the State House of
Assembly for screening in compliance with an agreement to resolve the political crisis in the state.
Governor Fubara urged the returning commissioners to put the interest of the people and respect for the constitution first in the discharge of
their duties.
