The Special Adviser on political matters to the Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, Iliyasu Mai Jega is dead.
He died in a private Hospital in Abuja after a protracted illness.
In a statement shared on his verified Facebook page, Governor Dauda Lawal Described the dead as a huge loss not only to Zamfara State but the entire nation.
The Governor on behalf of the state government extends is condolences to the deceased family and pray to God to give the Family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The deacesed left behind his wives, children and many grandchildren.
He has since been buried in Abuja according to Islamic rite.
