Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has commended the Renewed Hope Initiative, pledging continued cooperation with its state, local government, and ward coordinators to ensure that residents benefit fully from the administration’s dividends of democracy.
The Renewed Hope Ambassador in Kebbi State, Sambo Gwandu, while paying familiarisation visits to stakeholders in the State, said the movement is designed to bring government policies closer to the grassroots and ensure that citizens understand ongoing economic and social reforms.
He revealed that the Kebbi structure of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors has expanded widely at the grassroots, with coordinators across the 21 local government areas, about 250 ward coordinators, and over 3,000 polling unit coordinators mobilising support and public awareness.

As part of its humanitarian activities, Gwandu distributed food items to vulnerables and less privileged residents, targeting both Muslim and Christian communities as a symbol of unity and shared prosperity.
He also had meetings with the Christian association of Nigerian members as well as the council of Ulamas to promote peaceful coexistence and support awareness of government programmes, while customised New Year cards were being prepared for religious and community leaders to strengthen interfaith harmony.
Highlighting national recognition, Gwandu appreciates President Tinubu and the Kebbi State Government, Nasir Idris, for entrusting a home-based citizen with national responsibility, describing serve as grassroots mobilisers, image builders, and promoters of government policies, with a focus on unity, dialogue, and inclusive development.
