The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has congratulated Senator Bareehu Olugbenga Ashafa on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on Monday, Senator Tinubu praised Ashafa for his exemplary life of service, leadership, and contributions to public service and legislative development.
“I heartily rejoice with you, your family, well-wishers and associates on this joyous occasion of your 70th birthday,” she wrote.
She commended the former lawmaker for his dedication to national development and prayed for continued strength and wisdom for him.
“May Almighty God continue to grant you strength and wisdom as you continue to be of service to our beloved Nation. I wish you many more years of divine health, joy and continued fulfilment,” she added.
Senator Ashafa represented Lagos East Senatorial District in the National Assembly from 2011 to 2019 and is widely regarded for his role in urban development and infrastructure policy.
