Sustainable Development goal 4 seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for children across the world by the year 2030.

Achieving this target is particularly challenging in Nigeria where the state of education is daunting.

In 2017, the world economic forum ranked Nigeria 120th out of 136th countries with regards to quality of primary education.

This has also translated affected the quality of graduates churned out yearly into the labour market.

To address this, the Nigerian government is now setting up education quality assurance service units across senatorial districts to ensure quality education.

State offices would be disarticulated into three along the lines of the three Senatorial Districts in each state and would be referred to as Education Districts

Each district will be headed by a Director or a Co-ordinating Evaluator.

Mr Adejo affirmed that the reports of such activities would be disseminated for school improvement.
