The presidency has assured that discussions are on going to secure the release of the kidnapped humanitarian aid workers.
This assurance is coming following a video of aid workers held captive which went public.
On his facebook account, special assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu assured Nigerians that the federal Government has established contact with the captors.
He said discussions with the insurgents are ongoing not just for these aid workers, but also for Leah Sharibu, a religious leader and others.
Grace Taku has been in captivity since last week when she and five other aid workers were kidnapped in Damasak, Borno state earlier in July.
She begged the Action against hunger organisation which they work for and the federal government to come to their aid.
