The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested a suspected logistics and drug supplier linked to kidnapping gangs operating within the territory, in a major breakthrough against organised crime.
The Command said investigations led to the recovery of hard drugs, cash, an AK-47 rifle and other exhibits from multiple hideouts allegedly connected to the suspect.
According to the Police, kidnapping syndicates rely not only on armed operatives but also on suppliers, logistics providers and illicit drug networks that sustain their activities.
In a separate operation, the Command also rescued a woman who was abducted in Karshi after days of coordinated search efforts.
