Nigeria’s women’s football team – the Super Falcons will end the year as Africa’s best team after moving up two spots to number 35 on the world ranking.
The eight-time African champions leapfrogged Wales and Romania on the ranking having amassed a total of 1,613 points.

The Falcons lead the African log and are followed by Ghana, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and South Africa.
