Nigeria’s U20 women’s team, the Falconets have arrived in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on Wednesday morning for the Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian delegation with 21 players and 10 officials departed the country on Sunday evening and arrived the hosts nation three days after stopovers in Dubai and Singapore.
The Falconets will resume full training on Thursday ahead of their openier against Japan on November 13.
Peter Dedevbo’s side will also play Canada and Spain in Group B
Nigeria were runners up in the last edition.
