Agitation is still continuing, even after the disbandment of the squad.
The House of Representatives is keeping to its promise to further reform the Nigeria Police using the instrument of legislations.
This meeting between the leaderships of the House and the Nigeria Bar Association is the first step to fulfilling this promise
Members are in support of the youths and are ready to give necessary support towards reforming the police.
The legislators had last week, directed the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to produce an immediate plan for identification and compensation of victims of police brutality in the country.
