Ibadan stood still as eminent Nigerians from all walks of life converged at the House of Parliament complex venue for the Lying-in State ceremony in honor of the first Executive Governor of the Old Western Region and Western State Late Major General Robert Adeyinka Adebayo who departed this world on the 8th of march 2017.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki who led other prominent Nigerians to eulogize the retired top military officer described General Adebayo as a detribalized Nigerian who fought tirelessly to keep the nation unified.
He urged Political official holders to take a cue from him.
