Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai said religion has never influenced his governance since he assumed office on May 29, 2015.He disclosed on Sunday when he met with pastors in the state, to solicit their support for his re-election bid.
The pastors expressed disappointment over his choice of a Muslim as running mate. They said it has created an impression of marginalization in the Christian community, but Governor El-Rufai told them Hadiza Balarabe was his most viable option.
