The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) Ekiti State Command has alerted the Public on the new venture of internet Fraudsters ( otherwise known as “Yahoo Boys’)

The State Commandant, John Fayemi at a Press briefing revealed that boys between the ages of 20-30 now involve in blackmail and Kidnapping whenever they go broke or their “clients” have not paid for a long time,as proceeds from this helps them to keep up with their expensive lifestyles

Parading Some Suspects at the Command’s Office in Ado-Ekiti, A 21 Year old Salesboy, Tobiloba Olayinka was arrested for Disguising and threatening his boss with a Kidnap two days before Christmas if he fails to Pay 1.5 Million Naira.

In carrying out the act, he used fictitious names and account number to get the money from his boss who in turn alerted security officials as he was told to Play along which made it easy to arrest the Culprit.

The Young man confessed to have committed the Crime and says he got the “inspiration” from a Long time Friend who told him he had used Similar tactics to skew money from his boss on more than one Occasion.
