Efforts underway to address root causes of insecurity- FG

The Federal Government says efforts are underway to address the root causes of insecurity which will include youth unemployment, poverty, and social inequality.

Nigeria’s Minister of Information and National Orientation , Mohammed Idris disclosed this at a media conference in Abuja to reel out achievements recorded so far under the Tinubu administration.

Activities are winding down for the year, and the Federal Government is here to take stock and give its own account of stewardship in its over 100 days in office.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation says the administration recorded undeniable progress across various sectors of the economy such as Agriculture, infrastructure, Foreign exchange reforms, Foreign Direct investment, Human interventions and social Investments.

The Minister says President Tinubu’s dedication to addressing insecurity and creating a safer nation remains in focus as the fight against insecurity is a top priority of Mr president’s renewed hope agenda.

The Federal government says the reforms and initiatives of government targeted at fostering sustainable growth and development is taking root with strong assurances that these efforts will soon begin to blossom.

It also announced that the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation will soon unveil a groundbreaking Charter on Citizen Code, designed to define and uphold the core values that unite Nigerians while taking into account the nation’s socio-cultural diversities.
