Saminu Turaki, the former governor of Jigawa State, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Mr. Turaki is being detained by the EFCC for allegedly mismanaging Jigawa state’s funds during his tenure as governor.
Turaki’s detention might be connected to an arrest warrant, after the EFCC’s several attempts to bring him to court failed.
