Some leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Edo state have condemned what they termed the rising spate of politically motivated attacks on party leaders and some members across the state.
They also urged the Governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki to take the lead in ensuring that peace reigns in the state. This was part of the outcome of a reception for some PDP members, who joined APC in Edo Central Senatorial district of the state.
Factional chairman, noted that the party is becoming stronger with the number and Calibre of people that are joining the party in recent times.
Others who spoke condemned the attacks and advised residents to remain calm and continue to support Federal Government’s efforts to translate its policies for the good of the people.
