A State High Court in Yola, Adamawa State has vacated its earlier order restraining the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC from conducting supplementary governorship election in the state.
Justice AbdulAziz Wasiri has also ordered INEC to go ahead with the supplementary governorship election.

INEC had fixed March 23rd as the date of the rerun after declaring the earlier election inconclusive but the court stopped the conduct of the election in the state pending the determination of a suit before it.
The said suit, filed by the governorship candidate of the Movement for the Restoration and Defence of Democracy challenged the omission of MRDD party logo from the ballot papers.
