The federal high court in Abuja has adjourned hearing in the suit filed by the governorship candidate of the People Democratic Party in Ogun State, Senator Kashamu Buruji.
He is seeking an order of the court restraining the federal government from extraditing him to the United State of America.
The Former Attorney-General of the federation Justice Mohammed Adoke, had filed the extradition application on 28th, May 2015 upon a request by the US.
The US, in its request, had asked the Nigerian government to surrender Kashamu to be prosecuted on one count of drug related offence pending against him before the United States District Court for the Northern Illinois, Eastern Division.
