The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, has called on Nigerian troops to redouble their efforts in the discharge of their duties to the nation especially in the area of fight against terrorists and insurgents.
He made this while addressing the troops during his visit to Headquarters of 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He admitted that most of the troops are operating under a very difficult and challenging environment, but there’s a need to live up to the demands of the calling as the Army Headquarters will find a way of addressing the challenges.
He added that the government has the interest of the soldiers at heart and its currently investing on their operations and well-being.
