President Muhammadu Buhari was supposed to be back in Nigeria on Monday, but he’ll be spending more days in London. That’s because he has written the National Assembly, seeking an extension of his vacation.
His special adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina said the extension is in “order to complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors”.
The statement further expressed the appreciation of the President to Nigerians for their concern, prayers and kind wishes.
President Buhari has been on vacation since January the 23rd.
thats crap. Nigeria is not just a country, its the biggest country in the second largest continent in the world. i don’t see all that as an excuse for not coming back today. the country can afford transporting any medical personnel of whatever grade to the country so long as it involves the welfare of its president. #istandwithnigeria
