British Airways this morning denied boarding to 58 passengers after discovering some faulty seats on its aircraft.

The airline offered hotel accommodation to affected travellers, with 30 accepting the offer and 28 opting to return home.

Arrangements have been made to airlift the passengers tomorrow morning, and they are eligible to file for compensation.

Aviation authorities advised travellers facing similar disruptions to contact NCAA Consumer Protection Officers at the terminal, who will ensure their rights to care are protected in cases of airline delays.
