A businessman in Borno State, Hussaini Monguno has donated N100,000 to Ibrahim Tukur Bello, a talented one-handed badminton player from Kebbi State.

Ibrahim, a physically challenged young athlete, made headlines for his impressive participation in the Kaura-M Youth Badminton Tournament, which took place yesterday at the KBTV Badminton Court in Birnin Kebbi.

Monguno, who was impressed by Ibrahim’s courage and determination, extended his support to encourage the young player to reach new heights.

The businessman’s generosity was motivated by his desire to empower Ibrahim and inspire other physically challenged youth to pursue their passions and become productive members of society.

While presenting the donation to Ibrahim, Yakubu Ahmed , the Kebbi State Commissioner of Information and Culture, through whom the donation was sent praised Monguno for his philanthropic efforts, noting that this was not his first act of kindness.

In his response, Ibrahim expressed his gratitude to Monguno, promising that the support would motivate him to strive for excellence. The KBTV Badminton Club celebrated the occasion, with players and officials thanking Monguno for his generosity.

This uplifting story highlights the impact of kindness and generosity on the lives of others, inspiring hope and motivation for individuals with disabilities to pursue their dreams.
