The Deputy Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Samaila Bagudo, has been released from bandit captivity.
Bagudo, who was abducted last Friday in his hometown in Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State while returning from the mosque after evening prayers around 8 p.m., regained his freedom on Saturday evening.
The Kebbi State APC Publicity Secretary, Isa Assalafy, confirmed his release, noting that more details will be provided by the security agencies.
