The Academic Staff Union of Universities says it will appeal the court order asking its members to return to Work.
Chairman of the University of Abuja chapter of the union, Kasim Umar, disclosed this while reacting to the order by the National Industrial court in Abuja.
The Labour Leader said the National Executive Council of ASUU will meet to conclude modalities on the appeal process of the return to Work Order.

Meanwhile, the Pro-Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Ahmed Mohammed has advised the federal government to apply caution in handling the crisis with the union.
The Pro-Chancellor said a court order cannot resolve the crisis at hand.
His appeal is that both parties embrace dialogue in order to find a lasting solution to the strike, rather than resort to force.
