Armed men suspected to be bandits have police Divisional Headquarters in Zurmi local council and kill two police officers and one local vigilante
They attacked Zurmi town, the headquarters of Zurmi local council Monday afternoon at about two o’clock in their large number riding on motorcycles with heavy weapons
A Source from the area told newsmen that immediately the bandits arrived the town they started shooting sporadically
TVC NEWS also gathered that some persons sustained injuries during the incident
Armed bandits had in April this year attacked Zurmi Emir’s palace with the intent to kidnap the Emir of Zurmi, Bello Muhammed Bunu
Three persons were killed while three others were kidnapped during the invasion
This latest attack in Zurmi town is coming a few days after bandits attacked Army camp in Faskari Local Government area of Katsina state and killed eleven soldiers and injured others
