A court of appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has ruled, the All Progressives Congress, APC cannot field candidates for the general election.
The party has been troubled since a state high court nullified the party’s congresses, for violating court orders.

The APC’s appeal was initially dismissed in December, and again on Thursday, after the party filed another appeal.
The appellate court ruled it cannot rule against itself. Add to that, the exclusion of APC candidates from Rivers in INEC’s just released list of candidates for the general election.
