The Apapa command of the Nigeria Customs has intercepted more than one thousand five hundred cartons of tramadol and other controlled drugs loaded in three forty feet containers.
Showcasing the seizures, the area comptroller of the command, Jibrin Musa revealed that the consignments were falsely declared and were imported from India.
He explained that the pharmaceuticals were uncovered upon examination by officers, who observed that the medicaments had no certification and were not included in the customs import list.
Making further disclosures, he stated that arrests have been made and that investigation is ongoing.
