Another Catholic Priest has been kidnapped by armed militants in Kaduna state.
Reverend Father Emmanuel Silas was abducted from the parish rectory of Saint Charles Catholic Church in Kauru Local Government area on Monday morning.
The incident comes just five days after Father Vitus Borogo, another priest, was buried.

Father Borogo was assassinated on his farm by alleged terrorists two weeks prior.

The incident has not yet been acknowledged by the police or the government of Kaduna State, but the Chancellor of the Kafanchan Catholic Diocese, Reverend Father Emmanuel Okolo, confirmed it to Newsmen on Monday.
Reverend father Emmanuel Silas is the fifth catholic priest under the Kaduna catholic Archdiocese to be kidnapped or killed by bandits in less than a year.
