The crisis that rocked the Abia state judiciary in the past week seems to be heading for a resolution afterall.
This follows the swearing-in of a new acting chief judge, Onuoha Ogwe, for the state by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in the capital, Umuahia.

Ogwe’s appointment is in line with the recommendation of the national judicial council that the most senior judge be appointed in the absence of a substantive chief judge.
