The Presidential candidate of Accord Party, Christopher Imumolen said Nigeria needs youths with leadership records to man public offices. Speaking at an event in Abuja on the importance of collecting their Permanent Voter Cards, Mr Imumolen said there was need to reposition the country on the path of development and sustainable growth.

Since the signing into law of the ‘Not Too Young to Run’ Bill by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2018, there has been a debate on whether or not the youths are ready to wrest the mantle of leadership from the current crop of leaders in forthcoming elections.

The Accord Party Presidential Candidate believed the journey of the youths towards leadership in Nigeria can be succeed not only by their amassing a huge amount of funds,  but also by their unwavering decision to maintain a united front in determining their destiny.

Christopher Imumolen believes Nigerian youths must urgently understand that only good governance can ensure a return to the central notion of participation.

Mr Imumolen urged Nigerians to take advantage of the 2023 elections to elect youths with the prerequisite knowledge, skills and dynamism to solve 21st century challenges.

He believed the next president of youth extraction is achievable through the non-violent approach as the youths have the energy and the required numerical strength.
