Yarac, in collaboration with the British Council, trained the locals in various skills acquisition trades and also donated some start-up packs to them free of charge.

The gesture is part of the group’s strategy for tackling youth restiveness and poverty in all crisis affected communities.

Highlights of the event include the presentation of the start-up packs to the beneficiaries, who are mostly women and youth, and then goodwill messages from leaders of the two communities.

The start-up packs donated include sewing machines, drilling machines, laptops, hairdressing accessories, and clippers.
