This informed the concept of organizing a cooking competition by Palmark for students of the University of Maiduguri.
10 faculties of the institution are here to participate in the game.
The main objective of this competition is to engage the students in entrepreneurship skills, that would enable them be self reliant.
Participants of the competition expressed happiness with the programme.
Stakeholders at the competition believe that the introducing self employment programme at the grassroots level would go a long way in reaction of crime, reduce poverty, and simulate local economy.
At the end of the contest, Representative of the faculty of management sciences emerged winner of the first edition of the cooking competition.
