A condolence book has been set up at the late Omobolanle Raheem’s home, but her family is pleading with visiting mourners to respect their privacy for the time being.

Like a flash, the clock stopped ticking as a police officer now identified by the Police as Assistant Superintendent of Police Drambe Vande ended it all by throwing the family into avoidable mourning.
Titilayo said Omobolanle’s eight-year-old daughter is yet to come to terms with the reality of her mum’s death.
Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos branch has filed to follow through. The association stated this during an interview with TVC news.
Chairman of the branch, Ifechukwu Uwanna said “we are going to pursue it and prosecute it to the later and we’re working very hard to ensure that we get Justice for our slain colleague and beyond that we’re going to be setting up a team that will watch the brief.
The area commander ACP Olajide Agboola also paid condolence to the family with his team as he was cited by TVC Crew.
Many have described the Sunday 25th December killing has one death too many.
Recall that on the 6th of December, one Gafaru Braimo was also gunned down at the Ajah area of Lagos.
While the Inspector General of police has promised to ensure the Raheems get Justice this, may just be a wake-up call for the police authority to review their Rules of Engagement.
Meanwhile, the IGP has condemned Omobolanle’s Killing, and Ordered Speedy Investigation.
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Baba, on Monday, condemned the shooting and killing of the Lagos based lawyer Omobolanle Raheem.
The IGP, who described the incident as unfortunate and sad, ordered speedy investigation and prosecution of the officers responsible for the ugly and unprofessional act, Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said in a statement.
The IGP said the act doesn’t portray the Nigeria Police Standard Operating Procedure and core values.
In the same vein, the IGP commiserated with the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased as he prays for the repose of her soul.
He further assured the general public of justice in the case while he warns officers and men of the Force to be professional and people-oriented in the discharge of their duties and operate within the ambit of the law, as the Force’s leadership will not condone any inappropriate or unprofessional acts.
