In a media Summit held in Lagos, broadcasters and media professionals were charged to be accountable and transparent when reporting and telling stories.

Stories of fake news, brown envelope unaccountability are some of the issues affecting the media industry.

In addressing these issues, a summit was held to charge and remind journalists of their code of ethics.

Speakers at the summit stated that journalists must report and speak the truth, and that media people should never be scared to write about the truth because the truth will set Nigeria free.
