The COAS stated that the establishment of Nigerian Army Drug Manufacturing Company (NADMACO) in 1994 became expedient in order to meet quality and affordable pharmaceutical needs of personnel, as well as curtail the dangers of adulterated drugs faced by personnel and their families.

He noted that providing adequate healthcare is a critical aspect of a soldier’s welfare, so it is critical to continue to improve the Nigeria Army’s medical facilities.
