Speaking at the flag off of the exercise, Sokoto state Commissioner for Agricultural and Natural Resources Professor Aminu Ilela said the initiative will make disbursement of agricultural loan easy and and farmers will be accessible for training on technological advancement in agricultural practice.
He claims this will also improve agricultural business by increasing connectivity, which will connect farmers to available markets beyond their locality, resulting in a multiplier of job creation and income generation, as well as an improvement in farmers’ living standards, which will in turn ensure food production.
