Ten suspected Boko Haram militants have been reportedly apprehended by Nigerian Army troops in Kano.
According to reports, the terrorists were apprehended when troops stormed Filin Lazio in Kano’s Hotoro area on Saturday evening and raided a mosque and a few houses.
According to sources in the area, the raid was carried out while the Muslim faithful were breaking their Ramadan fast, which sent chills down the residents’ spines.
The mosque is thought to be owned by some Borno men who fled the troubled northeast due to the Boko Haram insurgency. It was also reported that the troops took some unidentified items from the mosque’s surroundings.
Spokesperson for the Army Captain Irabor when contacted promised to get back to TVC news today, Sunday
