The senate on Tuesday suspended sitting in honour of their colleague, Senator Adebayo Osinowo, who died on 15th of June.
Senator Oshinowo represented Lagos East senatorial district until he passed on.
Lawmakers described his death as a rude shock and a painful loss to the assembly where he will be sorely missed for his in-depth contributions.
A minute’s silence was also held in honour of Mr Osinowo who until his death, served as the chairman of the committee on capital market.
