The Borno state government has confirmed 53 positive cases and 9 persons dead from the Coronavirus.
The state commissioner of health, Dr Salisu Kwaya Bura who is also the secretary high powered committee on COVID-19 assured that the committee is on it’s feet to ensure the virus is being contained.
As cases of the pandemic in the state continue to rise, the committee is on the move to expand its isolation centre.
