The National Association of Nigerian Students has called on the federal Government to investigate and unravel the circumstances leading to the death of two students of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti who were allegedly shot by the security aides attached to the wife of the state Governor, Bisi
Fayemi.
The students apex body made this appeal at a Press Conference held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
In his speech, the National Public Relations Officer, Azeez Adeyemi said the Nigerian students want to know what actually went wrong before the two promising Nigerians were cut down in their prime.
He lamented that the sad incident has thrown the families of the students, into mourning.
One of them, Dada Kehinde was in his first year at the Department of Crop Science and Horticulture, while the other, Abiodun Okonufua Joseph, was in his third year of studies of Biology Education.
