The Nigerian football fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of former Super Falcons attacker, Ifeanyi Chiejine.
The former Falcons player died on Thursday after a brief illness at the age of 36.
Ifeanyi featured for several clubs in Europe and the United states before her final professional stint in Russia.
Ifeanyi began her international career with Nigeria in 1999 and scored 15 goals in 61 Matches.
Also on Thursday, Former Ghana and Nottinham forest striker Junior Agogo was confirmed dead at the age of 40.
Agogo had a 15 year career as a player and retired in 2012.
Nigerians will remember him most for scoring Ghana’s winning goal against the Super Eagles in the quarter final of the Nations cup in 2008.
